Solid Rock Basketball is partnered with the “Buddy Buckets” basketball program. This program was founded by former University of Oklahoma great and current NBA player for the Sacramento Kings, Buddy Hield. Team Buddy Buckets has been enormously successful in boys basketball at the High School level over the past few years. Now we continue to grow that success at the youth level for grades 2nd-8th for both Boys and Girls.
Team Buddy Buckets has two types of teams within the program: Rising Elite Team Buddy Buckets (competitive/advanced) & Team Buddy Buckets League (beginner/intermediate).
Rising Elite Team Buddy Buckets teams are HIGHLY COMPETITIVE tournament teams. These teams participate at the local and perhaps regional level in advanced competitive tournament play. These teams are specifically for advanced, committed players in each division.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Rising Elite Buddy Buckets teams are for:
- 2nd-8th grade boys
(Rising Elite girls teams may exists during some seasons on an availability-basis. Unless otherwise offered, girls can register for Buddy Buckets league team tryouts here) - players that are committed, competitive and experienced
By partnering with Team Buddy Buckets and their upper-level program, our players will get a chance to represent, play for and develop with the strong, growing Buddy Buckets brand. We are extremely excited to be able to work with the leadership of the Buddy Buckets organization in working together to help create a youth basketball program that is innovative, forward thinking, encouraging, and most importantly fun and memorable for all players and families involved.
We want to challenge and mentor our young athletes through our passion: basketball. Solid Rock Basketball continues to be serious about the teaching of the skills and fundamentals of basketball and we believe that to succeed, players must first learn these proper skills and foundations and grow from there.
The Solid Rock Staff will work hard to get your team in the best possible place for growth and court time.
