a note from the owner

“As a player I grew up in an organization in North Texas known as Hoop Hunter Basketball under the instruction of Deon Hunter. I am so humbled by what Deon gave to me as a player every time I was in his gym. It is because of his giving spirit that I now have a strong desire to give back what he gave to me. In addition to the mentoring I received from Deon, I was blessed with the opportunity to be both a player and a coach under small college coaching legend, Dan Hays. The wealth of knowledge I experienced as a player and coach with Coach Hays combined with the passion and drive I received from Deon are the reasons I am in the position I am today, leading my own organization and working with youth basketball players from all over the state of Oklahoma.

Through Solid Rock, with our top-tier facility and amazing coaching staff, I desire to provide a place where youth basketball can offer more kids a positive, encouraging, yet challenging and passion-driven environment to grow both their basketball game and to help develop the next generation of our society.
